Katherine S. Glaser, MD
Dr. Katherine Glaser is a St. Louis native and has been excited to be back in her home town practicing surgical dermatology locally since 2021. She is fellowship trained and double board certified with the American Board of Dermatology in Mohs Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery and Dermatology. The focus of her practice is providing high quality, evidence-based surgical treatment and reconstruction of skin cancers and other cutaneous growths in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.
Dr. Glaser is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City, completing the accelerated 6-year BA/MD track at the top of her class with magna cum laude. During medical school she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and Gold Humanism Honor Society. She then spent 4 years in Cleveland doing her dermatology residency at the Cleveland Clinic where she was selected as their chief resident. After training, Dr. Glaser went on to complete a fellowship in micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology at the University of California Irvine.
She is a fellow with the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS), and a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) and Women's Dermatologic Society (WDS). On a local level she is also actively involved in the Missouri Dermatological Society, St. Louis Dermatological Society, and St. Charles Medical Society. She has authored several publications and textbook chapters, served on advisory boards for early career dermatologists, and presented research on a national level.
In her spare time, Dr. Glaser loves spending time with her husband Dr. Brendan Alleyne, whom she met during their residency training at the Cleveland Clinic. With her family of several local beloved physicians, she enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, hiking, golfing, and playing pickleball. She equally appreciates her time cozying up at home with their cats Nigel, Alfred, and family dog Walter, watching movies and doing puzzles.
